HOW TO CREATE A POSITIVE MINDSET

  

Do you know that how you are feeling can be different than what you are thinking?

 

It is possible to think positive thoughts while feeling pain, anxiety and depression.

An event that happened to me!

Several years back, I was running and something happened to my foot that made it very painful to run so I eventually went to a sports medicine doctor and he x-rayed and examined my foot. I was advised not to run for two months or I would further damage the nerve pain.  I left his office and drove straight to Sports Chek in West Vancouver and bought the top of the line ladies running shoe at that time.  I walked to the parking lot and got in my car and put my new running shoes on and jogged 11 miles.  I was so happy and joyful, I got my run in.  I am positive it was mind over matter.  Forty years later I am still running.   

So next time you are feeling bad or depressed, think about something positive in your life regardless of your pain.

 It is important to train our brains to think positive thoughts as often as possible in order to create a positive mindset.
